Everything up here in Seattle is going well. I never got the opportunity to tell you THANK YOU for all the help/training to get me more prepared for the Vancouver Marathon. I ran it quite a few months ago but it went great! I'm not in san diego and didn't have your email so never got the opportunity to say that. I'm pretty sure that the reason it went so smoothly because of your help. hope everything is well in san diego!

"I am sending you this note because the TrueBalance program that I completed with Nathan several months ago made an incredible difference with the problem I've had with trying to walk long distances without pain in my right leg.
When Nathan first approached me about his TrueBalance program, he explained it would take commitment. I would be performing a set of exercises twice a day for at least the first two months. And then, as often as possible, I would take a walk after completing the exercises. every two weeks he would measure my progress and I would be given a new set of exercises. I worked with Nathan for about eight months and then began my "maintenance" program.
During the first two months I saw several changes. At one point the pain seemed to intensify and then, during other periods, I noticed I wasn't having any pain at all (even after being on my feet or walking for periods off two hours or more). However, no matter how good I felt, I religiously followed my exercise schedule.
One reason that I was motivated to begin this program was that my husband and I had planned a two week trip to Australia this summer. I did not want a repeat performance of our trip to Europe from five years ago, when I had to take constant breaks because of cramping in my right leg during our sightseeing walks.
Well, we just returned form Australia last week and we walked everywhere. Some days I was on my feet for hours and I had no pain. Of course, I made sure I did my exercises every morning without fail. One day we walked for over four hours! I did my morning routine and to a brief break back at the hotel in the afternoon to eat and do one more quick exercise routine. I had zero problems with my leg.
I have exercises regularly most of my adult life, and even though I have been quite active, the pain that I had been experiencing existed in spite off my weightlifting and cardiovascular work. It was not until I began the TrueBalance program that I experienced relief from the pain. I am back to my regular exercise schedule of weight lifting, Pilates, and walking, but I will always continue to do my TrueBalance exercises!

Well guys...So far so good. Did 10 miles last Sunday with no shin, nor hip pain. I think Nathan took care of the hip and Chris is responsible for taking care of the shins. Now I can foresee running the La Jolla Half from this vantage point. Thanks a million! Now I guess I have to perform!
Nathan, I want to introduce to you Chris my running coach. Chris, this is Nathan. Nathan and Dr. Dawn got on really great. They had lots to talk about and lots to share. It might be good for you, Chris, to know or meet Nathan and Dr. Dawn so that if you run across people who need referrals to great talent in the area, you will have a couple more to draw upon. I've had 4 other chiropractors in the last 11 years. None even compares to Dr. Dawn. As far as Nathan is concerned, the jury's still out! Just kidding. I have great hopes for being able to manage chronic conditions that have been with me for at least 14 years. I have made my own tests where I had improved with his exercise menus (with and without the benefit of pilates and chiropractic care) and I have been able to "right" myself using his techniques. AMAZING! That means I'll have to go to the chiropractor less.
